Erika N. Little
Erika N. Little is a professional services consultant and principal at The Summit Group, LLC. She is dedicated to enhancing and strengthening organizations through strategic planning, contract negotiation and data aggregation and analytics. In addition to strengthening the operations of existing organizations, Erika works with entrepreneurs to start and organize new businesses. Erika encourages organizations to draft operational strategies that support not only the recruitment of talent but the ways in which to enhance organizational culture and employee morale for retention.
A dedicated lifelong learner, Erika has worked for the Columbus City Attorney’s Office, State of Ohio Department of Development, Franklin University and PCM, Inc. She is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University (BA), Capital University Law School (Paralegal Certificate), Franklin University (MBA), and Tiffin University (M.Ed.). She is also a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem with CASA of Franklin County.
Erika resides in Columbus, Ohio with her family and is looking forward to developing a non-profit dedicated to bridging the gap between primary and higher education for minority and at risk students.
Laura Wilging is the creator of Smart Bomb Cosmetics and owner of GLAM356 boutiques.
She has been the skincare industry for over 25 years. Most recently in the past 12 years, she has developed her own skincare and make up line under the name Smart Bomb Cosmetics. It is currently comprised of over 150 products. She personally developed the formulations for the the large majority of the skin care products which we are now also wholesaling products to salons & boutiques. Also the owner of two boutiques under the name GLAM356 that sell the Smart Bomb Cosmetics line, along with clothing and accessories. She personally hand select every clothing and accessory item in the boutiques.
Her expertise is in helping every woman to attain beautiful, smart looking skin at any age.
Lubna is the founder of Columbus-based IL Moda (brand development) and Lubna Designs Inc. (clothing). An accomplished fashion designer, Najjar, a Jordanian American, also works to spotlight the creations of other Columbus designers. She has been featured on Good Morning America, in The Huffington Post, and more. Lubna sits on the Fashion Week Columbus Board, Power of Women, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. She has been announced entrepreneur of the year by multiple publications for the growth of her businesses and her philanthropic efforts.
Senior Lecturer; Assistant African Languages Director, African Languages Program
Dr. Salome Fouts has taught courses in Swahili, African Literature and Contemporary Black Drama for the Department of African American and African Studies at The Ohio State University over the past ten years. Her research interests include exploring the use of indigenous African Oral Performance forms in the Active language classroom, Swahili culture and performances, and the position of Kiswahili in Uganda.
Wahida is an Urgent Care Doctor with experience in hospitalist medicine, and outpatient pediatrics. She is the daughter of Indian immigrants who migrated to the USA 45 years ago. She studied at University of Michigan and Medical school at the University of Illinois. After finishing her pediatrics residency at University of Michigan, Wahida moved to Dublin, Oh 9 years ago. She has been married for 19 years to Ronney Abaza- an intercultural marriage. met in college. As a devoted mother of three, Wahida is always incorporating teaching medical student and residents in the hospital. She leads by example with her devotion to her faith, family and career.
